Kohler Generators
Legend has been a Kohler dealer in central Ohio for over 35 years. We are able to install residential, commercial and industrial units. From 8KW to 900 KW. Kohler generators have been made since 1920. Kohler is considered the top of the line in standby generators and has features well above its competitors. Compared to its primary competitor Kohler has hydraulic lifters which means the valves never need to be adjusted unlike the competitor who uses mechanical lifters which do need adjusted periodically. Kohler generators have a larger oil sump and the crank shaft is 20% larger than the competitor. Kohler does have an aluminum block but also have cast iron cylinder sleeves on the cylinders which is the primary wear point in an engine.
Kohler has the highest “near power line quality” which means that the voltage and frequency is held within 2% of what your power company delivers to your home or business. The primary controller is the RDC2 which contains a real time clock which will give a time and date stamp to all functions of the unit including any run functions and faults should they occur which make troubleshooting easier. With OnCue monitoring you will keep constantly in touch with your generator on your computer or smartphone.

Fire Alarm
Legend is Licensed by the State of Ohio to install and test commercial fire alarm systems. We are able to install multiple types of systems from the cabling to the devices. Legend Electric can troubleshoot existing systems or do a full upgrade to an existing system.
